In a developing story, Metro Police have launched an investigation into a shooting that occurred east of the Las Vegas Strip near the Westgate Hotel Casino.
According to police, the incident took place around 1:15 p.m. today on Karen Avenue near the Westgate. Upon arrival, officers discovered an individual who had sustained an multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to University Medical Center, and their current condition remains undisclosed at this time.
Police were seen searching the area across from the Westgate at Turnberry Towers Las Vegas.
The latest shooting comes in the wake of our WOKE sheriff continuing to ignore and dismiss the record violence throughout the valley. Earlier in the month, the WOKE Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill attempted to make excuses for these violent thugs, telling local reporters “They have no job. They have no opportunity. They have no really home life, oftentimes and so we have to continue our effort there and try to make a difference.” A month earlier the same sheriff praised the criminal George Floyd and claimed that police being mean to these criminals was why recruitment was so low.
This is just the latest in a string of violent incidents that have plagued Las Vegas, from shootings to robberies to assaults.
Mass violence has taken over many areas of the valley, including nightly attacks on Fremont Street, road takeovers and shootings, and homeless addicts taking over large portions of the Las Vegas Strip.
