About the Nevada Shakespeare Festival Theater Events in Las Vegas:
The Nevada Shakespeare Festival’s mission is to enrich our community by presenting adapted works by William Shakespeare and inspiring new relevant, fun, engaging, affordable, and digestible pieces. The group also seeks to use the theater arts to engage students as educators and creators to inspire them to become radical free thinkers that are self-motivated and have an eye toward the skills.
The Nevada Shakespeare Festival hopes to be recognized as a new kind of Shakespeare festival – curating artists who produce adaptive, unique, clever, interactive, socially relevant, accessible, and thrilling works; presenting shows that will appeal to first-time theatergoers; as well as encouraging those who already love the world’s most beloved playwright to see his work in a new and inspired way.
Through education, the Nevada Shakespeare Festival wants to foster creativity and imaginative play and encourage a love of literature and creative writing. The Nevada Shakespeare Festival intends to promote a sense of self-worth and give students the tools to discover their artistic voice and to self-produce to nurture a new generation of devised theater-makers.
