Historic Genoa, Nevada was established by Mormon traders in 1851 and is the home of Nevada’s oldest thirst parlor. 

Genoa is home to Mormon Station State Park, River Fork Ranch, and David Walley’s Hot Springs. This tiny 4-corners town is worth the trip. 

Where to Stay: David Walley’s Resort is the perfect place for families and offers the amazing and historic David Walley’s Hot Springs. 

Just outside of Genoa you’ll find Minden and Gardnerville both full of outdoor adventure, Nevada history, and local restaurants and shops. This area, known as Carson Valley, is close to Carson City is you want to enjoy the parade and celebrations and then escape for the most amazing outdoor adventures.
