Metro: Man dies after robbery on Spring Mountain Road

Metro Police are seeking a silver four-door sedan and its driver suspected in fatal hit-and-run early Saturday morning that resulted in the death of a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 24-year-old North Las Vegas woman, was crossing Lake Mead Boulevard near Mt. Hood Street about 4:25 a.m. Saturday, when she was struck by a sedan. The sedan failed to stop at the scene of the collision, and continued eastbound on Lake Mead, police said.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect vehicle is a silver or light-gray, four-door sedan, with damage to its front end and windshield. The collision remains under investigation, police said.
